The xw9400 Desktop Workstation Computer from Hewlett-Packard is designed to meet the needs of video editors, graphic designers, educators and businesspeople.

The computer is powered by a two dual-Core AMD Opteron 2.2 GHz processors and is loaded with 250 GB of hard drive capacity, 2 GB of RAM and a dual-layer DVD burner with LightScribe support. The system also features integrated Gigabit Ethernet and ample PCI and PCI Express expansion slots. All this is powered by Microsoft Windows XP Professional and housed in a rackable minitower form factor.

This quad-core configuration is powered by two dual-core CPUs, each of which features two processors on a single chip. This increases system efficiency and reduces power consumption when compared to four-chip quad processor systems.

• Bring Your Own Graphics Solution: As configured, the computer does not feature a display card. Two PCI Express x16 expansion slots are available, allowing you to add either a single video card or dual nVIDIA cards using the Scalable Link Interface to improve performance. Customize the system by choosing the video card that best suits your needs.

• 250 GB Hard Drive Capacity: The PC's 250 GB storage capacity makes it easy to store all of your critical data including uncompressed videos, thousands of MP3s, and thousands of pages of important documents.

• HP Warranty and Support: Hewlett-Packard provides three years of 8/5 technical support either by phone or online. Replacement parts are shipped out with next-business day arrival and knowledgeable technicians will help you through any problems you have.
