Nikon Field Recon Optics Backpack (Realtree)
The Nikon Field Recon Optics Pack (Realtree) is a backpack designed specifically for hunting optics. The pack is manufactured by BlackHawk Products Group for Nikon Optics. The interior of the main compartment features a padded spotting scope sleeve that folds out of the way when not in use; a special water-resistant, padded pocket for a small digital camera; and a hydration sleeve that is compatible with the hydration system. The top outer compartment features two sleeve pockets and one mesh, zippered pocket. The lower outer pocket is padded to protect binoculars, and has two sleeve pockets and a zippered mesh pocket.
The exterior of the Optics Pack features a stowable waist belt that comes with a detachable padded Rangefinder Pocket, for quick and quiet access. Mesh pockets on the outside edges of the pack are designed to hold shooting sticks or a tripod; (quick clip straps hold these items in place). Binocular attachments on the padded shoulder straps allow use of binoculars while wearing the pack. The shoulder straps feature non-slip HawkTex to keep over-the-shoulder slings in place.

Bought this pack as a day-pack for hunting and outdoor photography. Comfortable as all heck. To test it out I used it on a hunting trip and carried all my optics, spotting scope, binos, range-finder and DSLR w/ Multiple lenses and tri-pod. Also also carried extra gear. Good thing, nightfall, weather and a sprained ankle 5 miles back into Adirondak Park turned trip into an unexpected overnighter. Thanks to all the room in the pack I had all the comforts and spent a cozy and comfy night. Didn't give 5 stars because haven't had it long enough to rate it for durability. Nikon and BlackHawk did a great job.
