My wife and I use these cards with a point and shoot digital camera-I use sandisk for all of my professional stuff, so i trust it for little outings where i don't wanna take all my gear-i've never had a failure with any sandisk card yet
Sure, these cards aren't lightning fast (related to writing speed)-If you want lightning fast, get a faster card :)
