The Sony DXC-D55H is a dockable camera head used for both multi-core and triax systems. Building on the previous DXC-D50 series, the camera has been equipped with a 14-Bit A/D conversion chip, helping to improve overall image quality. The camera uses 3 Power HAD EX chips featuring over a million pixels per chip for better video under the harshest lighting conditions. The DXC-D55H provides an ideal solution for ENG, EFP, and small studio operations at an affordable price.
The Sony CA-TX50 is a triax camera adapter back for the DXC-D50 digital camera heads. The Triax system supplies Analog component video from camera to control position and camera control the other way all with the same cables. Camera control protocol and component video output run over very long distances. In addition the triax system supplies return video to the camera for monitoring the program video feed plus teleprompter information, tally lights and the possibility of SDI output with and optional CCU board.
The Sony CCU-TX50 is an economical camera control unit for use in studio and field applications. The triax base-station controls camera picture-look parameters including color, contrast, gain, shutter and selections from the menu system. Intercom, tally lights, teleprompter, return video and audio are all supported by this base station. Component Analog video is received from the camera for high quality image capture. With an optional board, the CCU-TX50 can output SDI uncompressed video whether for digital VTRs or digital non-linear systems.
The RCP-D51 is the Dial style remote panel for connecting to the CCU-D50 camera control unit. Maximum cable length is 164 feet or 50 meters.
The DXF-51 5" monochrome studio viewfinder offers 650 lines of resolution. When connected to a 16:9 aspect camera, the viewfinder will automatically switch the aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9.
Sony's VCT-U14 is probably the second most important piece of equipment in your camera bag - second only to the camera itself. The VCT-U14 allows the full-size, shoulder mount professional camera or camcorder to be attached to a tripod's wedge-plate. The Sony plate has a quick release mechanism that allows for rapid mount or dismounting of the camera from the tripod.
