The Sony DXC-D55L is a dockable camera head used for both multi-core and triax systems. Building on the previous DXC-D50 series, the camera has been equipped with a 14-Bit A/D conversion chip, helping to improve overall image quality. The camera uses 3 Power HAD EX chips featuring over a million pixels per chip for better video under the harshest lighting conditions. The DXC-D55L provides an ideal solution for ENG, EFP, and small studio operations at an affordable price.
With the CA-D50 camera adapter attached, the DXC-D50/D50WS can be remotely controlled from the CCU-D50 multicore camera control unit using CCZ-A 26-pin cable. The video and audio output of the CA-D50 are transferred to the CCU-D50 as a component digital-SDI signal through CCZ-A cable up to 246 feet or 75 meters long or up to 150 meters with CCZ-AD cable. This combination allows the establishment of a full digital acquisition system.
The Sony CCU-D50 camera control unit allows for a completely digital video acquisition and full camera picture control of the DXC-D50/D50WS camera using the CA-D50 studio camera adapter and CCZ-AD 26-pin cable. Additionally, intercom, teleprompter, power, and video output are accommodated through the CCU-D50.
The RCP-D50 is the Joystick style remote panel for connecting to the CCU-D50 camera control unit. Maximum cable length is 164 feet or 50 meters.
The DXF-51 5" monochrome studio viewfinder offers 650 lines of resolution. When connected to a 16:9 aspect camera, the viewfinder will automatically switch the aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9.
