I love the fact that it is a hard shell case, in case you drop it. It is primarily for one drive and any cables, BUT, it holds 2 passports for me and the USB cables too. Extremely portable smaller than a planner, that most people carry.

I bought this case for the 500 GB Ego portable firewire drive, and though the drive fits the case, it's a tight squeeze, and i cannot fit all the accessory cords in the case at the same time. Which is ok, I guess, since I only use firewire, and don't really need to carry more cords anyway. It's a nice case for a small harddrive, but is not an exact match to my drive. The case is good, though. Seems durable.

I bought this for carrying a Transcend StoreJet 25M3 and its USB cable. The drive fits nicely in the case with the cable. It has an elastic strap on one side to keep the hard drive secure and a mesh pocket on the other side to hold the cables. It has a wide strip across the middle 2/3 or so of the case for reinforcement on the outside. Small, convenient size for carrying around, but provides good protection. I bought the Case Logic for my Western Digital 1TB Passport. A co-worker had one with his Seagate 1TB portable HD and I was impressed. The Seagate fits much better than the WD does. Luckily there is a strap on the inside of the case that securely holds the hard drive in place. The Case Logic seems to have more padding than the WD leather case. This is the right way to go in my book, just wish it was a tiny bit smaller.
