It works perfectly and the cord is an appropriate length. Basically like any other brand name product, you should buy this if you don't want to worry about polarity, amperage and voltage compatibility when using with yamaha products.
Note: the pros and cons seem to be for a musical instrument not a power adapter, so they really don't apply.

Works pretty well. Got this for a gig after I left my last one in a pub somewhere in Texas. Could be longer and sturdier, but it works just fine.

I had tried to go to some local electronics stores and was told original power adapters are best for the keyboard to function properly at higher volumes. It is nice to be able to save on batteries as well.

I got this adapter for Yamaha PSR-E223 - 61-Key Portable Keyboard and it works well with that model.. No complaints and serves the purpose.B &H should infact add this one item along with the keyboard it works rather than selling seperately...my 2 cents.many times people think that adapter comes with the keyboard

I bought this AC adapter to use with a Yamaha PSR-E323 digital keyboard, since the keyboard doesn't come with one. I prefer the adapter, as sold individually, to buying the Yamaha Survival Kit, which includes the same adapter, a piano pedal, stereo headphones, and some software and software coupons.
