The Smart-UPS RM 2U XL 24V Battery Pack from APC is an external battery pack that is designed for use with the Smart-UPS XL series from APC. The external battery acts to supplement the internal UPS battery, allowing devices to run longer on battery power in the event of an outage.

Enhanced Run Time
The external battery supplements the internal battery of any compatible UPS in the Smart-UPS XL series. This allows it to power devices for longer amounts of time in the event of a power outage.
Rackable and Stackable
The battery features a 2U rackmount design for professional installation. Up to 10 battery packs can be stacked together. This is ideal for enterprise environments where server downtime is simply not an option.
