These really are the perfect size for today's compact 12" speakers such as Mackie SRM450s, TH-12as, QSC K12s and alike. They are quite a bit smaller than regular speaker stands, which are really for larger speakers and are overkill for smaller ones. These stands are rock steady and come with a great bag too!

I have owned these stands for 2 years now with no problems. The bag has ripped and is about to be retired, but the stands are as good as new. Be careful if you plan to fully elevate these stands they will get a bit wobbly when they are all the way up. Recently I have used these stands at a gig where I was rolling down the road through a parade in an f250 pickup and they still did not tip. Bottom line for this price they will last and stable your precious speakers well (plan on buying a new bag at some point).

I use the TS50 for home recording studio monitors, live sound and back yard parties. They are strong, sturdy and stable. I found them to be a little unstable fully extended because the base width is narrow. I wanted them because of the narrow base (small footprint) and I won't be using them fully extened, I have full size stands for that.
