• High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI): If you're looking to pump high-definition DVD playback into your HD displays or projectors, the HT-SR800 will do the job. It has a high-bandwidth processor capable of transferring 720p/1080i and 1080p through the HDMI output. HDMI supports standard, enhanced, or high-definition video, plus multi-channel digital audio on a single cable.

• Exceptional Digital Surround-Sound: The HT-SR800 offers built-in Dolby Pro Logic IIx, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX, DTS, DTS-ES, DTS Neo:6, and DTS 96/24 decoders capable of advanced 24-bit processing, and an outstanding frequency response of 20Hz - 20KHz. The dynamic range of the HT-SR800 system is so well balanced and matched, that the center, front and rear channels blend effortlessly into a surreal home theater experience.

• Wide Range Amplifier Technology (WRAT): It's the Wide Range Amplifier Technology (WRAT) that will fill your room with noise-free, impressively powerful, true-to-life sound. With a broader frequency range and lower harmonic noise entering the signal path, the HT-SR800 is perfectly suited for new high resolution DVD-Audio and SACD formats.

• CinemaFILTER Technology: Onkyo's proprietary CinemaFILTER restores the correct tonal balance to movie soundtracks that can otherwise play to edgy and bright over home audio equipment since it's designed for large theaters.

• Optimum Gain Volume Circuitry: The receiver has the ability to adjust the gain allowing for less noise contamination especially at lower volumes.

• AUDYSSEY 2EQ Processing: For enhanced room acoustics, Onkyo's AUDYSSEY 2EQ technology is included with the HT-SR800. AUDYSSEY 2EQ is designed to work with home theater systems to create a larger, fuller listening area without distorting the sound.

• XM and Sirius Satellite Ready: Simply plug an XM Passport System into the HT-SR800's XM-Ready A/V receiver, and activate the service to start receiving uninterrupted radio programming of your choice. Now, in conjunction with Neural Surround, XM Satellite Radio offers XM HD Surround, which provides 5.1-channel surround sound on selected programming.

• Remote Interactive (RI) Interface: Remote Interactive (RI) capability enables you to simply connect your iPod to your receiver through Onkyo's RI Dock option for the iPod (DS-A2). Your iPod effectively becomes another Onkyo component flowing through the HT-SR800.

• HD Component and Digital Audio: With playback specifications that meet the standards of professionals, the HT-SR800 features HD component video inputs/output for high-resolution low-distortion video playback, and 4 digital audio inputs for high quality audio reproduction.

• 7.1-Channel Speaker System: The Onkyo HT-SR800 speaker system comes packaged with two (2-Way 5" Dual-Woofer OMF Cones) front speakers, four (1-Way 3.25" Full-Range Cone) surround speakers, one (2-Way 5" Dual-Woofer OMF Cones) center speaker, and a powerful 230W Down-Firing subwoofer (w/RCA input).

• Magnetically Shielded: The four satellite and center speakers are magnetically shielded to prevent picture interference when placed near your TV or display.

• Color-Coding System: Onkyo takes the guesswork out of the speaker installation process with an easy-to-use surround-sound channel color-coding system.
