The IMV4 from AKG is a compact system for wireless in-ear monitoring. It features integrated signal processing for meeting the needs of the performer and the environment, and to provide a natural sound experience. The system consists of the SST4 transmitter, an SPR4 bodypack receiver, and a pair of IP2 earphones.
The SST4 stereo transmitter provides 14 UHF channels to choose from, and up to 1200 frequencies that can be selected manually, which allows you to use the transmitter with any WMS 400 or 4000 wireless mic system. The SST4 has an integrated DBX compressor, multiple EQ settings, and binaural room simulation algorithms for excellent performance. The RF output of the unit is adjustable up to 100mW for system matching, and a large backlit display provides vital info.
The SPR4 bodypack receiver has auto setup and environment scan functions to get you up and running quickly. You can choose from preprogrammed frequency banks or manually choose from the 1200 available frequencies. The individual mix function lets you set up a personalized mix, even in areas where no separate monitor mixer is available. The receiver case is made from magnesium to withstand the rigors of professional use. It has a convenient power/volume knob, and can operate for up to eight hours on two AA batteries.
The IP2 earphones provide high-quality audio with a full frequency range. The soft eartips come in three sizes and fit comfortably in the ear to help seal out ambient noise so you can focus on the mix. The cable has a slider so you can adjust the slack according to your preference.
