It offers you the same surround sound entertainment value you would expect from a night out at the movies, without having to buy a ticket.
The Sony HT-SS2000 offers HDMI switching, BRAVIA Theater Sync technology to control select HDMI devices, and Digital Media Port (DMP) for connectivity to your favorite digital music player (i.e. iPod, MP3). It features Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby Pro Logic II, optical digital inputs, and S-Digital Amplification. If you want a unified, stylish, and easy-to-set-up home theater system, look no further than the Sony HT-SS2000.
- High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI)
- If you're looking to pump high-definition DVD playback into your home theater, the HT-SS2000 will do the job. It has an integrated digital processor capable of upconverting video signals to 720p/1080i and 1080p through the HDMI output.
- BRAVIA Home Theater Sync
- Go beyond simple audio and video transmission with the "one-touch play" remote control feature that allows you to easily manage select BRAVIA televisions and Sony HDMI audio and video components with the included remote control.
- Digital Cinema Sound
- With technology created using three Hollywood dubbing stages where many movies are created, true theater surround-sound is delivered implementing the exquisite DSP technology of the HT-SS2000.
- Portable Audio Enhancer
- The HT-SS2000 features a powerful Digital Signal Processor, capable of expanding the quality of sound from any connected device. Front-panel connections make it easy to play music stored on portable devices through the receiver.
- Digital Media Port (DMP)
- Integrate a wide variety of music with your home theater system. Add a DMP accessory (sold separately) to play music from a PC client device, Bluetooth receiver, or from a select Network Walkman or your iPod.
- Digital Cinema Auto Calibration
- Enjoy better sound as the automatic calibration system adjusts for speaker placement, distance and delay. Just hold the included microphone at your listening position and Digital Signal Processing does the rest.
- Digital Surround Sound
- The Sony HT-SS2000 reproduces Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Digital and DTS audio at a 24-Bit rate. The dynamic range of the HT-SS2000 system is so well balanced and matched that the center, front and rear channels blend seamlessly.
- Stylish Design
- The Sony HT-SS2000's slim design and advanced audio capabilities will complement your (optional) Blu-ray disc player's HD performance.
- Magnetically Shielded
- The two front, two surround, and center speakers are magnetically shielded to prevent picture interference when placed near your TV or display.
