The Sony SS-CR3000 Home Theater Speaker System is the perfect way to jumpstart your home theater. Included in this package are two rear speakers and one center channel speaker. ordered the CR3000 speakers because I already had my older front speakers and when I upgraded my receiver to a 6.1 sony, I felt I could use more speakers. Good call because I didnt know what i was missing. anyways, all over the web it says that the rear channels come with long speakers. they actually aren't too long. 20 feet max. so if you want to run your wires along the wall to hide them, you are out of luck. plus the wires these came with are lower gauge skinny wires. I went over to[...]and picked up a 75 foot roll of 18 gauge clear speaker wire. and with a wire slicer, went to work. the good part is that the wires aren't built into the speakers at either end (like computer cables) instead, they are detachable. but the quality of the speakers is adequate. there are better on speakers out there but IMO, its the receiver that makes most of the difference. But end of the day no regrets on the speakers. they do their job and do it well. just invest 7-8 bucks on a roll of wire from anywhere and you will be set. plus these ones are light weight and can be hung off hooks/nails on the walls if you desire

These sound great for the price, just as long as you don't push them very hard. Rears start to distort during louder scenes at about 60% max volume, which isn't that loud with the home theater set-up I have them connected to. Center channel is quite adequate for a basic system, and has yet to distort.
Great if you don't need a very loud system, especially a dorm room, kids room or apartment.

With my other Sony SS-B3000 speakers, it works great. I only wish I could have purchased the SS-CR3000 Center Channel Speaker by itself as that was all I really needed to complete my TV stereo sound system. Before I found this speaker system, I looked, for a long time, for a compatible center channel speaker to go with my current speakers which, by the way, are great speakers by themselves and I didn't want to replace them. This is the only center channel speaker I found to be completely compatible with them.As too B&H, I have purchased from them before and have found them to be a quality company to do business with.

I have these speakers paired with a Sony STR-DH510 Home Theater Receiver. The sound quality is great. They are a relatively small speaker for being able to handle 100 watts continuously. Good construction and quality at a low price. There is a screw or nail bracket on the back for easy installation to the wall.

upgraded my SONY home theater system... 7.1 AV receiver (110watts/channel) dtsHD-MA & DDtrueHD... paired w/ new F6000 tower speakers... i use the smaller 2 satellite speakers as the surround back L&R's w/ SONY bookshelf speakers as the surrounds & the towers n front... the center is not only the perfect size to place on top of my 51' WEGA but it is so powerful for its size that the auto cal. on the receiver actually set the center to -1db... so it can even hold its own with the 150watt tower speakers... the dialog from DVDs, blue-rays, & PS3 games comes thru loud & clear... has a nice mid-range sound for a "small" center... only con i can think of is the lack of removable grills... but unless you MUST display the cones of these speakers I highly recommend this package... great price,[...] thank you B&H !!!

Unfortunitly i didn't know anything about what i actually needed for my high definition Tv. The speakers were nice and compact, but i didn't order a receiver with these speakers, so they were useless to me. All in all the service was great and the product was as expected.

I bought these speakers for my surround sound system. They work very well. They get fairly loud without getting very distorted. They are not like Bose speakers but for the price they work wonderfully.
