Before using Lysonic ink cartridges, it is recommended that Lysonic cleaning cartridges be used. These are cartridges filled with a harmless cleaning fluid that thoroughly clear out the OEM inks or transport fluid from the printers print head. This eliminates any possibility of cross contamination or color shift whilst printing. They are also an excellent service aid for restoring print quality on older or well used printers, since this fluid is capable of removing blockages. Many users find regular cleaning helps to maintain the printer's performance.
