Zing Designs Standard SLR Reversible Camera Cover (Green)
The Zing Standard SLR Reversible Camera Cover (Green) is a one-piece, wrap-around neoprene cover that stretches over the lens and self-secures without buckles, snaps or zippers. The removable retainer strap clips onto your camera strap and allows the cover to hang out of the way while shooting. The SLR cover is reversible to black. This cover will fit smaller SLRs and older models with a lens up to 3.5 inches (8.7 cm) long.

This is a handy product for porting your camera anywhere - easier and more convenient than using a full-on camera bag. Fits my Lumix G2 with lens with room to spare. Like that it has a strap to attach to the camera. Great product, great price, very pleased. Only wish there were a few small pockets for memory cards...

This is a good protective cover but it definitely will not fit the Rebel XT with the 17-85 lens attached. It is very snug on the Rebel XT with the kit lens attached.
I doubt that it would fit well (too tight) on a Rebel XT with a 3.5 inch lens as specified.

The Zing cover is great for use with a Nikon D40X with standard kit lens & the Nikon neck strap.Carry covered ,then easily remove the Zing,stuff it in a pocket or belt & shoot away.

I've been looking for a snug-fit camera bag for my Nikon D50 with 24mm lens. I was kinda hesitant at first to buy this [...] But at this price I thought 'what the heck' and go ahead with it. B&H makes this a great bargain. With a little practice I learned how to take it on and off quickly. It protects from bumps but not heavy rain. I'm glad that it reverses into black. I'm not particularly fond of having a green camera bag. This bag just made my D50 into a compact camera. Now I won't miss a shot anymore because I always bring my camera with me wherever I go.
