This makes playing with your Holga A LOT less expensive! I love these camers, but the 120 film can get expensive to buy and process. The 35mm adapter solves the money problem. Now, you can get all those nice little Holga "accidents" without breaking the bank. The only real cons are replacing and advancing the film. You'll need a changing bag or a dark room to change film, because it has to be hand-wound. My trick for advancing the film is counting in 4 click intervals six seperate times (24 clicks is the suggested amount). HINT: Count 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4, then repeat. The adapter is easy to install, and the masked backplate is a nice bonus. I still use my original back with duct tape and keep the other as a back-up. For the price, everyone with a Holga should have one of these!

The back is completely unnecessary, as you can just tape over the film counter window on your own. You're paying for the new mask. Using this product, you'll get regular 35mm-sized negatives. Good for people who don't want to spring for 120 film and send-away lab processing, though I'd rather run 35mm through the Holga using the 6x6 mask to get "panoramic" images. Take to the drug store to get processed, but tell them not to cut the negs. Then you can scan them and print the wide images.

I had a Holga camera that used film which was really difficult to develop. So by getting this adapter, I was able to use 35mm film which is much easier to develop. I loved how easy it made taking pictures! It really is helping me save so much money!

Great instructions and super easy to install. It comes with handy stickers that show how far to advance the film, which is hard to tell if the camera's self modified. Sometimes it can be a hassle to find 120mm film.

This is a great add-on for Holga 120N.
Since it's simpler to develop a 35mm film as compared to a 120 film, I'd recommend this to anyone who has bought a holga 120N.
It fits in easily and is not very complicated.
If you are new to lomography then try using this with a few 35mm roll to get used to a holga and then go for the 120 film.

Everyone loves Holgas, but not everyone loves their 120 film. 120 film often gets accidentally exposed, and not many stores develop it. Even [...] ships 120 film to an off-site lab for processing, which usually takes two weeks. But who wants to wait that long to see their pictures? And finding ruined film after a two week wait is all the more frustrating. However, with this adaptor, you can use common 35mm film in your Holga! Now you dont have to wait two weeks for your photos, and your film is more likely to survive. This adaptor does not expose the sprocket holes, which makes printing as easy as normal 35mm film. Now some people just buy a 35mm only Holga, but with a normal 120N and this adaptor, you can switch back and forth with ease!

It does exactly what it's supposed to do: allows you to run 35mm film through your Holga camera hassle free. It's easy to install and easy to use. I hadn't loaded a film camera in years after switching over to digital and I thought it might be difficult to do, but this was one of the simplest things I've ever done. If you want a simple way to use 35mm film with your Holga, this is it!

We'll I might be a fool but I really thought the 35 mm adapter didn't help me much. The film was hard to unwind and I messed it up. My fault, sure, but the adapter wasn't really helping. I returned to 120 film.

I was able to easily adapt the 35mm adaptor to my Holga, however, I lost a roll of exposed film halfway through, the adapter dislodged and fell to the floor off the back of the camera. I'll chalk it up to inexperience in using the adapter. I will definitely buy more goodies for my Holga.
