Comments about Audiovox D1917 Portable 9" DVD Player:
I love the clarity of picture and the size of screen. When plugged in, it has been great for watching an evening movie without disturbing my husband. The push latch stopped working after the second dvd. I was disappointed when I couldn't play a movie longer than 140 minutes with a fully charged battery. [...] the advice I got was to keep it plugged in and it would run fine. That advice may work if you don't plan to take it on the road and don't live in an area with frequent power outages. I'm sorry I bought this model. I've had good luck with Audiovox in the past and this was disappointing.
