just press it on and studio lighting in an instant.....alittle difficult to attach... takes time to get it right... but arent good things worth time?

I use this product for portraits and weddings. I love the even warm light it produce. A little bit bulky but it fit perfectly into one of my Think Tank pouches.

I did lots of research before purchasing the Lightsphere. I have not been dissapointed! The Lightsphere attaches to the top of your external flash and diffuses (spreads) the light. It literally lit up a completely dark room and gave me a perfectly lit picture. It is a wonderful Diffuser! It's easy to put on and use and yeilds amazing results! I would suggest this to ANYONE who photographs in a Professional capacity. The CD that comes with it is very helpful and explains not only how to properly use it, but also exactly how it works. A++

I made a gamble and used it recently for a wedding coverage and did find it top heavy; I was afraid that it will break the speedlight. The power output when using the ChromeDome is quite impressive compared to the basic accessories included with SB-800.

This unit wastes a lot of the flash output and the dome aswell as the base unit easily fall of the strobe when in use. Get one of the LumiQuest units - any of them - and you willbe much happier with the results and save money as well.

Problems Encountered: It it very top heavy and due to its weight it puts even morestress on the mount for the flash at the hot shoe of thecamera. In fact it loosened the hot shoe on my D200 whichhad to be sent in to Nikon for repair. When using it for weddings the dome would fall off the baseunit and the base unit would fall of the strobe frequently.
