The Sony Hi8 Metal Particle 120 Minute Videocassette uses Depression Surfacing technology for smooth running with reduced filler in the magnetic layer. The tape features Enhanced Ultra Fine Cosmicilite metal particles, and maintains High RF-Output even after 200 repeated playbacks. The tape can be used for Hi8 or Digital 8 recording. For Hi-8 recording, you get 120 minutes of recording time in SP mode, or 240 minutes in LP mode. For Digital 8 recording, you get 60 minutes of recording time in SP mode, or 90 minutes in LP mode.
