Comments about Iogear Mobile Digital Scribe USB Digital Pen System for Windows:
A well-working digital pen with small but excellent note editing software. The pen just works, you don't need to install huge programs (the note editing package is only six megabytes) or heavily incompatible drivers. The precision and resolution of the pen is probably less than 1mm, much better than I expected.
The only minor drawback are the clips on the base unit, which can only accommodate a few sheets at a time.
Overall an excellent product.

I guess, I need a bit more practice on using this pen. Don't expect this to work like tablet PC. out of the box. It you try to use the pen as an input, expect a very small area of your paper to range between the top right corner and the bottom left corner. To use this pen to write in a natural way you will have to use the provided Software. Although, microsoft products do a much better job of recognizing handwriting.
In the mouse made, the cursor will not enter the second screen if you have a dual, but, this is a microSoft problem.
without a shadow of doubt, this is an entry level product.

I got this product a few weeks ago and I am pleased with this pen very much. I haven't used it in class yet, which is why I initially bought the product for. It is really a useful tool. The pen looks and writes like an ordinary pen but the wireless receiver captures the writing. The quality of the receiver is well adapted for a 8.5" X 11.5" paper. The pen can also be used as a mouse when connected directly to the computer, which I initially thought I would never use. The mouse option makes it really easy to draw in programs like paint. The software coming with the product is decent. One package allows for transferring the pages on paper onto the computer while the other one is meant to convert the images to text.
