The Zenith XBV713 VHS VCR and Progressive DVD Player Combo is the perfect entertainment companion for your scaled down entertainment center. Delivers progressive scan video technology, Hi-Fi Stereo, 3D Surround Sound. On top of a quality audio and video experience, you get a multitude of features that let you expand your video entertainment. The XBV713 will dub from DVD to VCR and the Progressive Scan output will recreate images at 480p for excellent image quality.

Used for watching DVDs and VHS tapes. A basic DVD/VHS player. Has worked well so far. Has no digital tuner so you need a cable box to record tv shows. Simple to setup and use. Good for someone who just wants to watch the occasional DVD/VHS tape.

This was rated by users as very good, compared to other brands. Zenith but LG brand. It works very well as a player. Disappointed that I need some kind of tuner in order to record, which with lifeline cable, I have no cable box, so will have to record off another machine.
