The GeForce 8500 GT PCI Express Display Card from PNY delivers powerful 3D graphics to your desktop computer. The card installs in an available PCI Express slot and features VGA, DVI, HDTV and S-Video outputs. The DVI port is dual-link, allowing you to connect a high-resolution digital display to your computer. You can also connect legacy VGA displays using the VGA port. You can even connect a TV or HDTV at up to 1080i resolution. The card is fully compatible with such standards as DirectX 10 and OpenGL 2.0, making it an excellent choice for your computer.

• Full Microsoft DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0 Support: The video card has full support for the DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0. This brings stunning graphics capabilities to gaming, geometry, vertex, physics and pixel shading operations.

• nVIDIA SLI Technology: Users who demand high performance out of their video card, such as PC game players, the SLI technology allows you to install two video cards to run in parallel in your system. This effectively doubles the graphics power of your computer, giving you the horsepower to play games in high definition.

• PCI Express Support: The card is designed to run perfectly with the next-generation PCI Express bus architecture. This new bus doubles the bandwidth of AGP 8x delivering over 4 GB/s in both upstream and downstream data transfers.

• Dual Monitor: The video card can drive dual monitors, giving you a professional display configuration. It supports a digital DVI monitor with up to 2560 x 1600 resolution as well as a standard analog VGA display. Alternatively, you can also connect dual VGA displays via an included adapter.

• Windows Vista Support: This card is fully compatible with Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system. It provides more than enough horsepower to drive Vista's Aero graphics. The card is also HDCP-compliant, allowing you to view high-definition content when using Vista.
