Premade microscope slides are hard to come by and are usually of bad quality when found. This set is very complete and arranged in a coherent manner; plants, animals, tissues, etc. It even has two very good chromosome preparations! Plus it comes in a handsome traditional wood slide box. Best "hobby" slide set I have seen. Worth every penny!

I purchased these to go with my new microscope and was quite pleased. They feature everything from insects to intestines and are certainly nothing that I could have prepared myself. They've been a blast to use and have been helpful in showing off the capabilities of my new microscope to my friends!

The prepared slides in the box is very good quality. 100 slides contain cross section of plant, anilmal organ, insect and other microscope objects.

Some slides show different color in different object in the organism. It look very interesting and beautiful. Most of them are very thin and clear to see under microscope, professional prepared.

I use this slides for my hobby and give my kid (grade 7) an experience to see something thru microscope. It is worth the money including beautiful wooden box.

I give 4 stars because some slides (only a few) is not clear to see thru microscope. May be because of the sample itself that difficult to make. The slides sit in the box a bit too close together, make it difficult to pick up.

Bought this to go with a Celestron microscope as a started set for my daughter. There are many slides that have organisms beyond her understanding, but that will change in time.

Very happy with the set. She spends a lot of time looking at the different slides. Makes her feel older.

Nice, sturdy wooden box to hold all the slides in their own specific places.

I bought this product for my granddaughter along with a microscope. Specimens are well preserved and slides are clearly labelled. They will provide years enjoyment and discovery for any microbiology student and hobbyist. The slides are stored a wooden case, which is a nice touch. Only negetive is that it would be nice of the manufacturer included a brief explanation of content of each slide, rather than just give the name of the specimen. A more complete explanation of each slide will give students a better basis for researching each specimen.
