Great in theory, not so great in practice. A nice design for a professional's desk, but its features could use a little refining. Otherwise the entire unit is mostly good as a paperweight.Not worth the small investment!!!

Problems Encountered: DISPLAY: I've inserted several SD cards onto the reader and continue to receive card error messages with each card even since it was taken out of the box.TEMPERATURE: The temperature sensor also doesn't appear to be very accurate. Next to two control digital thermometers, the sensor on this device was more than 5-degrees higher (warmer) than the other two.BATTERY: Even without the use of the image display, the battery life on two new AAA batteries is a little over a month at best.

This item is great in theory, but does not play pictures back in a slideshow type format. You have to manually choose the picture you want via the awkward buttons on the back of the unit. After selecting the picture, it will display for 45 seconds and then turn off. Additionally the picture quality, even for a 1.5 screen is very very poor. The entire unit it therefore useless in my opinion.It's really to bad that they couldn't design the unit to simply play back the pictures in a continuous slide show feature, as the unit is a very attractive and stylish desk accessory. I can only guess that the screen is such low quality that it would burn out quickly if continuously used.I returned mine!

Problems Encountered: The unit only will play one picture at a time after the user manually selects the image. This image will then be displayed on the screen for 45 seconds and turn off. This unfortunately is the extent of it's picture playback features.
