Comments about NSI / Leviton Digital Dimmer Pack, Programmable - 4 Channels (120V):
This device comes with a standard NEMA 5-15 plug (the one you are most familiar with). It's called a 5-15 plug because it's 3 conductors and rated for 15 Amps. However, this dimmer pack will pull up to 20 amps (2400W). A NEMA 5-20 (which it should be) is no different, except that the neutral prong is turned 90 degrees (like on some window A/C units). It's not any safer electrically, it's just what electrical code specifies. Also the cord on the device is 14 gauge which is also a bit on the light side if you are going to pull 20A through it. I suspect the cord will get hot when the dimmer pack is run at 100%. Everything works as expected, however, I've just started playing with it. We'll see how it goes-
