Great rain cover for rain. But never ever use it in cold conditions like snowing. With the cold, the transparent window made of plastic simply "exploded" like a window break when I used it in cold conditions.
Deception when you think of the price paid. I then replaced the window with a square of heavy plastic table top, fixed with gaffer tape.

Comments about Aqua Tech SS-300 Sport Shield Rain Cover (Navy):
This is a great product that does what it says. I t protects thousands of dollars of equipment and keeps it dry. Plenty of room to get your hands into the sleeves and work the camera. From a light rain to a heavy downpour, this item will keep your equipment dry. A little pricey but nothing is cheap in photography. I bought the flash cover too but don't see me using it any time soon, got it just in case.

Comments about Aqua Tech SS-300 Sport Shield Rain Cover (Navy):
I use this with a Nikon D700 and Nikon 300mm 2.8 lens. It is very easy to put onto the lens. Love the neoprene wrap/finish at the end of the lens. The eye piece is a bit difficult to assemble but it works and must be used to secure the cover to the camera body. With the Nikon D700, I have to remove (unscrew) the eyepiece and it is difficult to screw into the NEP-1 eyepiece because the fit is so tight with the cushion. In fact, I haven't been able to screw it in fully. The only fault I have with this product is the clear plastic window. It does not line up with the body LED by @ 40%. Otherwise this is a good, very well manufactured, product.

Comments about Aqua Tech SS-300 Sport Shield Rain Cover (Navy):
Used at the NC State 1A title game. Rained steadily the entire 2nd half. The Shield fit my Canon 50D w/70-200L lens. Would have fit a 300 2.8 I think. The Shield was soaked but the camera was bone dry! Their are 2 'portals'. One for each hand to control zooming & shutter. Their is a clear shield so you can see your shots & an eye piece opening perfectly placed. Was a little tricky getting the camera inside but once I did it worked perfectly. I got a lot of admiring glances from the other photogs. Some were using makeshift shields. I'll take my Aqua Tech any day !!! I highly recommend !!!

This product does everything it is supposed to do in an ergonomic and efficient manner. The only objection is how hard the eyepiece is to get into position but with practice that has become easy. The quality of construction is awesome and I have no doubt this helps protect my thousands invested.

Used in outdoor sports photographs, where I'll be out in the weather conditions, no matter how awful they are!
It's great simply because it protects my very expensive camera and lens underneath it. It also keeps my shooting hand warm and dry:-)
