The AtlasSound SM8SUB70B Surface Mount Subwoofer in black is the perfect sound system for use in restaurants, bars, and retail locations. The 8" woofer is housed in a durable wood enclosure that is treated in black rough coat finish. The subwoofer is totally flyable but also can be mounted on the wall or ceiling with the purchase of an optional bracket.
An 18 dB octave 3-pole passive crossover means you don't need a separate amplification system. The 120 Hz crossover point virtually eliminates localization so you can get complete and equal coverage in your whole room while still keeping the speakers hidden.
The included premium 70.7V transformer lets you parallel the SM8SUB70B with any commercial 70.7V audio system to give you extended low frequency response and a greater overall impact.
- Mounting Options
- The SM8SUB70B comes with 20 - 1/4" inserts so it's totally flyable but it is also wall or ceiling mountable with the purchase of an optional bracket.
- Included Transformer
- The internal, high efficiency, 60W 70.7/100V transformer adds extra convenience but it's also easily bypassed for 4 ohm operation.
- Unique Input Panel
- The unique input panel lets you use a standard 4" square box cover if you need to use a flex conduit termination.
