I am a hobby photographer (with the hope of starting a business one day), so I didn't want to throw too much $ at a reflector. This one has been great so far! The only down side is, I don't think I'll use the gold surface very often. So far my favorites have been the silver and diffusing sides. It is a good size too, I wouldn't have wanted to go any smaller. I definitely like the fact that it folds up small.

Reflector is great for photo and video applications to help light your subject. Reflector fits snuggly within the case and seems to be of high quality (silver / gold surfaces won't flake off). Seems to be a little pricier than the no-name brands...

Mostly excellent because is does what it claims to do very well. It collapses easily and stores in its bag easily. It does an excellent job, well, reflecting light. It's also a great defuser. It's a very nice portable reflect/defuser. he only issue I have is when changing the color of the reflector. It unzips easily and can then be turned inside out to change the colors. Slide the strap through the opening in the cover and then start piping it back up. Here is where the problem lies, the zipper gets stuck occasionally while zipping it up again making it hard to change quickly. Despite this issue, I still recommend this product.

I use it mainly for diffusing light, but it can also be used to remove or add light (Warm, shiny, or natural). I think every photographer should have one. It's relativley cheap and will come in handy in tons of situations where you need more control of your light. [...]

My client was pleased that this reflector gave a varity of looks for her daughter's photos. The white reflector gave a nice clean bright look and the gold gave a nice warm look. Easy to use as well.

I looked at all the reflectors on B&H 's site, and this seemed to be the best value. Westcott leads the industry, and this product was no disappointment. The gold is a beautiful tint in pictures, reflects light well...The other colors are perfect. I had a hard time at first folding them up in the round zipped bag, but a few tries, and I got it! The zipper is of good quality and I am very happy with the product, I recommend!

I own two of these 5-in-1 reflectors/diffusers. The diffuser itself isn't very useful outdoors, but indoors on a stand or held by an assistant it is great for diffusing light and is more convenient than an umbrella in tight spaces. Using the included covers, you can create beautiful, even lighting using only available light sources!
The price can't be beat. I don't see the point of paying twice as much for rectangular products, these attach fairly easily and securely to boom arms.
I suggest that you keep this unfolded as much as possible, especially if you use it in a studio, the first unit I bought casts some funky colors on the gold because I folded and unfolded it many times (it's over a year old). If I had been more careful I believe it would still be fine today.

Use the product for outdoor photography. It Is excellent for lighting subjects with a lot of backlight, and it becomes very compact for storage. Doesn't work too well in overcast conditions.

This is the perfect tool to modify ambient light or add a little bounce to your flash. I love the fact that I have so many option in one compact piece of gear.

It is a sail though if you don't have an assistant and are using it outdoors. I have not had any issues with it so far.

This is a great tool to have. It is extremely versatile. I use it for indoor studio lit portratis as well as natural light portraits outdoors. It is easy to fold up and I love the handy carrying bag. This is a great product.

It does what it says. The zipper is a bit annoying, but who cares the price is right and other than that the quality of the reflector is great.
