Porta Brace MO-LH801W Monitor Case - for Panasonic BT-LH80W Portable LCD Monitor (Blue)
The Porta Brace MO-LH801W Monitor Case is a custom fitted, 1000 denier Cordura bag that is padded to protect a flat screen monitor at all times (mounted on a tripod, a support arm, around your neck, over the shoulder or during transport). The folding protective sun visor shields the screen from unwanted glare while in use. It also folds over the screen to protect it during transport. A built-in Rain/Dust Top deploys quickly to cover the cables and battery, keeping everything clean. The Slip-Not base keeps it from sliding off slick surfaces and acts as a tilt mechanism to adjust the monitor. The included removable, adjustable shoulder strap attaches to two sets of rings, one set for carrying over the shoulder during transport, and the other set for carrying around your neck, for viewing when mobility is necessary.

MO-LH801W Monitor Case - for Panasonic BT-LH80W. It is great! I didn't have anything on my BT-LH80 for about 6 months but that's because we were all indoors studio configed. But when we took the BT-LH80 outside we found we had no way to grip the LCD. The strap is great as you can have a producer put it around their neck & they don't have to hardly hold it & it doesn't get dropped during the rigors of production as easliy. The Hood is wonderful as it has two purposes. 1). It's a hood that protects the monitor from the sun so you can view the image outdoors in bright environments. 2). The shade is made of a soft material that when folded to be stored, protects the LCD.
THIS A MUST HAVE indoors or out !

So you drop $2K on a monitor you should get this case. Shoulder strap, and keeps the screen safe, built in sunshade-- a no brainer. Keeps the unit safe and smaller than a Pelican case. Keep an eye on the heat build up... but a great product for run and gun.
