AKG WMS 450 Headset - Wireless Microphone System
The AKG WMS 450 Headset System is a flexible bodypack wireless microphone system that offers the reliability of multi-band UHF operation, professional features and a cost effective price. The system is delivered with the SR450 receiver, PT450 bodypack transmitter and C555L headworn microphone.
The SR450 diversity receiver is a rugged tabletop mounted device with twin antennas to minimize drop-out, RF noise and increase range. The SR450 features up to 12 preset channels per frequency band. A programmable back-lit LCD display provides channel, frequency information and more. An integrated frequency scanner with a country specific management database scans for the best possible frequencies specific to the country.
The PT450 bodypack transmitter features a mini XLR input connector for compatible AKG microphones and instrument cables. The transmitter includes the C555L headworn microphone for hands-free speech and performances. The lightweight and rugged transmitter operates up to 6 hours with a single AA battery.

Mounted easily in our rack and hooked up to our old antenna combiner. The IR sync between receiver and body pack worked great once I got them lined up. We plan to slowly replace 2 more WMS systems and this is a great replacement that allows us to easily do that as budget allows.
