The Flip DVI-D from Belkin allows you to share a single keyboard, mouse, speakers, and monitor between two computers. It features a push-button interface with a wired remote for quick and easy switching. The KVM Switch works with computers that use USB connections for the keyboard and mouse and a DVI-D connection for the display. It installs easily, with clearly labeled ports to connect cables. The Flip supports DVI resolutions of up to 2560 x 1600 pixels, allowing you to use the switch with dual-link displays. This is a great solution for anyone who wants to share a single monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers between two computers.

Comments about Belkin Flip DVI-D - 2-Computer USB KVM Switch with Audio Support:
The Flip DVI-D KVM was easy to set-up and use. The video switch-over is very fast, but it takes another few seconds for the mouse, and another second or two for the keyboard.
It comes with a power adapter, although everything spec I can find says it does not need it.

Comments about Belkin Flip DVI-D - 2-Computer USB KVM Switch with Audio Support:
Fundamentally, it works. You push the button and the monitor switches over. But it has trouble switching over the keyboard and mouse. You have to unplug the USB cable and plug it back in to every time you restart the computer. So annoying.

Comments about Belkin Flip DVI-D - 2-Computer USB KVM Switch with Audio Support:
With this KVM switch Belkin implemented a great idea. Having one monitor for two computers it is great, especialy in home office where sometimes not enough desk space available for additional monitor.
But unfortunately, Belkin needs to give more thoughts for this item, more work needs to be done.
One of the cons here is that connecting cables are not that flexible. So in tight places it would be hard to bend them or hold in place (like laying on the table and etc.)
Another con for this item is that it is a bit bulky. So if you do not have too much of desk space available then you might have a problem with placing (fiting) this switch on your desk. And this is in addition to not too flexible cables.
One more thing that Belkin needs to think about is that supported video signals. This item made for DVI-I video input and is not supporting VGA signal - even if you have VGA->DVI-I adapter. So if you have one computer with VGA video card and another with DVI video card, then this item is not for you. I think Belkin needs to make such switch that supports both type of signal.
Other than avobe - item is good.
