This is the device you want to accompany a mixer without a soundcard on board, such as the stealth.
It plugs n plays on my mac quite easily and hooks up with traktor easily.

Comments about Numark DJ/IO USB Audio Output Interface:
Works great, but it's too bad it didn't come with the program when I bought it a year ago and had to figure that the program was missing something. I took a couple of times for my pc to accept the driver/soundcard download, but worked great after it downloaded.

Comments about Numark DJ/IO USB Audio Output Interface:
To be perfectly honest, if I had known I would have to purchase the DJ/IO in addition to my Total Control, I would have bought a different midi controller from the start. Then again, I have a feeling most controllers require a secondary sound card. Not sure though. I definitely suggest looking into that before you buy anything.
With that being said, it took me an hour and a half to figure out the proper wiring config, sound driver config, etc with the actual hard wires as well as on the software I was using (Virtual DJ).
When all was said and done, the DJ/IO served it's purpose. I was finally able to hear what was playing on the speakers in my headphones, or what was cued up to play next, or both at the same time. It helped tremendously with my mixing, start points, jogging through songs and figure out how I wanted to mix them.
So like my headline says, if you own a Numark Total Control the DJ/IO is a must.
As for software, if you use Numark Cue I'm sure the config is easy as 123, if you use Virtual DJ you need to play around but it does in fact work with the 4 outs option. I have yet to try it out with Ableton or Traktor but I have both and plan on it soon enough. I'm sure it will be fine as Traktor I know for a fact works with Total Control, so why not DJ/IO as well...
Overall, I'm satisfied.
1 more thing actually... The lighted sound level display never worked properly until I started using the DJ/IO. not sure why but I was happy about that too, just because I thought the lights were broken, apparently not.
