Speedotron Honeycomb Grid Set of 4 - 7", 10, 20, 30, 40 Degrees
This is a 4 piece, 7" black honeycomb grid set. It includes a 10, 20, 30,and 40° grid. They will fit any 7" reflector designed to accept grids.
Grids are essential accessories for any lighting system. These devices alter the shape and intensity of the light output from your flash heads. Use of a grid will result in a small circle of light, when it is attached to the front of your light source. The size of the circle of light will be determined by the density of the honeycomb, its thickness, and the distance of the subject.

I attach theses grids to a NIkon SB900 using a rigged combination of pony tail holders and large paper clips. The dramatic effects possible are terrific.
Well made and far less expensive that single grids you get from other manufacturers.

A set of grids is on my essential light modifiers list. Like most Speedotron gear, these are built well and get the job done. They're not the cheapest but the price point is affordable for the quality. Like most grids, they are somewhat fragile but can take the occasional drop on the floor without breaking. A nice price point and can fit into a lot of different 7" reflectors of different branded strobe heads.

These grid sets are perfect for fine tuning lighting with Speedotron 7" reflectors. The various grids produce different spreads of light pattern, making very specific lighting possible. They are a must have, in my opinion, for doing lighting for architecture and many studio applications. You have to be careful not to damage the honeycomb portion, but in general are very durable if taken care of. Great investment for lighting applications.

I purchased the Speedotron 7" Honeycomb grid set to use with my Pro Foto lamps in order to save a buck. These are very affordable compared to the pro foto versions and well worth the savings in that regard. They get the job done but perfectionists may want to steer clear of them. The grids don't fit flush inside the lamp rims. This doesn't change the direction of lighting in any way but, may simply annoy some photographers.
