The Chimera Triolet accepts Mogul base bulbs up to 1000 Watts. The included screw-in adapter may be used for household bulbs. There is an optional 2-pin adapter for halogen bulbs up to 1000 watts.
This is a fixture designed for use with 220-230 Volts AC current. It has a Euro grounded plug and in-line switch. Its Speed Ring Adapter is designed for rectangular, heat-resistant softboxes. An optional protective glass dome is available, but limits halogen use to 650 watts.

These lights are the coolest, easiest lights to use for pancakes, lanterns etc. the speed ring is just that, quick and easy and with the glass dome and 2 pin adapter - 650W bulbs can be used, I love that... the quality, as with all chimera products, is very high. I just love these little lights.
