I use this adaptor with Novatron lights in rectangular Photoflex Softboxes with Photoflex speedrings. The speedring and its adaptor do not allow rotation of the softbox. The Chimera double axis adaptor gives me back that rotation that I want when using rectangular or strip softboxes. The adaptor is strong, light weight, and looks attractive. I also like that it folds down flat so that takes minimal space in my bag when I travel the lights.
