The MacCuff Pro Desk Mount for Mac Pro and Power Mac G5 from Sonnet is a mounting bracket kit that allows you to hang a Mac Pro or Power Mac G5 underneath a desk. The kit, constructed from heavy-grade steel, features all the components necessary for installation. These include a drill template, screws, and steel security cable. It is an excellent option for under-desk mounting of your professional Apple workstation. In addition to the Power Mac G5 and Mac Pro, the kit is compatible with the AGP Graphics edition of the Power Mac G4.

It does what it needs to do, mount a MacPro to the bottom of a desk. It is also nice that it includes the security cable for the Mac. It is a bit pricey for a piece of metal.

I use this mount on a desk that I did not think had wood (Beech wood) strong enough to support the weight of the MacPro. The screws are dispersed with plenty of space to take the weight of the MacPro. It's a piece of metal, but it is a well made piece of metal. Very sturdy. I was not prepared for the extra 4 inches in the back...making it longer than the actual footprint of the MP. Like another customer...I had to sacrifice the built in cable management system that came with my height adjustable desk, and got another $5 one from [@] that was mountable in the back. Bottom line...buy this mount. I spent a long time researching which desk mount will be sturdy and retain access to the side panels...this is by far the best.

Keeping my MacPro off the floor away from dust and crazy animals is the only way to go.
The MacCuff was very easy to install with the trusty screw gun. Took about 15min. tops. Being able to lock the Mac in place avoiding someone walking off with it is just another bonus.
I'd say the only downfall is having to take the Mac off if you need to get behind it. Maybe a sliding bracket is on the drawing board? If not it should be.
A must for every designers studio space.

I have the Apple 24" Monitor. Solved the short cord issus as wll as moved the Pro off the floor. Easy install w/security lock. No problem getting into the guts to add memory or swap a drive. [...] Win all around for me.

VERY easy, simple installation. Gets your Mac off the floor via a very solidly built, one-piece hanging solution. Comes with a security cable that locks onto the bar; however, the footprint of the plate requires an extra 5-8" BEHIND the area that the Mac hangs on in order to be of use, which I did not have, so I had to simply abut the back end up against the strut of my console and screw it in there, losing the attachments and cord management there...
Otherwise, simple, elegant solution to get that mac up where you can use it without bending over all day long!!
