LG Electronics RH-1777S 80GB HDD Multi System DVD Recorder

The RH-1777S from LG is an incredibly versatile and capable machine which can handle all media needs. The Rh-1777S will play and record on DVD-RAM, DVD±R/RW, DVD+R Double Layer disks and record direct to its huge 80GB hard for up to 200 hours of MPEG4 format files. Record to HDD or DVD from your digital camcorder with front panel DV input (IEEE1394). With its Digital Optical and Coaxial audio outputs, you will be able hear your movies in true surround sound when connected to your Multi-Channel Home Theater.

• 80 GB Hard Drive: Record 100 hours of MPEG2 media or 200 hours of MPEG4 video.

• Recordable DVD Media: Record your favorite shows onto DVD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+RW, and DVD-RAM DVD discs. The RH-1777S is also compatible with DVD+R Double layer media which provides up to 10.5 hours of media recording.

• Multi-Format Player: Don't worry about limited playback capabilities, the RH-1777S can play DVD, DVD-RW (VR Mode), DVD-RW (Video Mode), DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-RAM, VCD and CD-DA discs. Also, you can play your favorite songs from CDs or MP3 files, and JPEG images. Transfer Files from your hard drive to DVDs and vice versa.

• Progressive Scan: The RH-1777S is a progressive scan DVD player, capable of scanning an entire video frame at once; scan-lines commonly associated with interlaced video are drastically reduced. The result is a spectacularly clear image with no motion artifacts (stair-stepping), and details so sharp they seem as if they're etched onto the screen.

• DV (IEEE 1394) Input: Simply connect your digital video camera to the RH-1777S's DV input terminal, and you're ready to record images onto the internal hard disk drive or a DVD recordable disc.

• High-Performance Outputs: With playback specifications that meet the standards of professionals, the RH-1777S features a component video output for high-resolution low-distortion video playback, and an optical digital audio output for high-quality audio playback.

• Dolby Digital and DTS Sound: The RH-1777S offers built-in Dolby Digital and DTS decoders capable of advanced 24-bit processing and an outstanding sampling frequency of 192 kHz.
