I've been using this product for about a year without any problems. It works great for removing loose paricles on the sensor. What it wont remove is grease or oil! That requires a different product. I just purchased two more of these, I carry one in my camera bag and keep the other with my cleaning stuff.

Canon service center professionals use this pen, supposedly, so why send your camera in to be cleaned by Canon when you can get the cheap cleaner they use, do it yourself, save money, and not have to be without your camera for a week or whatever when it's in their shop? Yeah, right. Great in theory, but it didn't clean my Canon camera's sensor. I tried it, and all it did was rearrange the dirt! Then I used a different wet cleaner, to loosen it up, and that didn't work, either. I used this pen about 5-6 times, and it failed every time. I still can't take f/32 pictures without spending 10 minutes removing all the crud in PS. This pen supposedly gets the corners of the sensor, but it doesn't. I followed the instructions that came with the pen and on the company's site and they aren't good enough. It doesn't cost much but it failed. Next I'm sending my Canon 30D to Canon and see if they can clean it.

Worked as advertised. I had to clean the sensor twice to get everything, but after the second cleaning it was perfect.

Comments about Lenspen SensorKlear Digital SLR Sensor Cleaner, Model SK-1:
I specialize in macro photography and often find it necessary to use apertures in the f/11 to f/22 range. As such, any dust present on my D300 sensor will show up in my pictures. I use the built-in sensor cleaner, but it only removes the REALLY easy stuff. After that, I use a rocket blower. It removes a bit more, but of course not everything. Neither of those methods will ever remove "welded" dust (particles that have actually adhered to the sensor--they usually look more like a ring than just a dark spot). I tried using pre-moistened sensor swabs to remove welded dust in the past, and they did work okay, but left horrible streaks which I eventually had to have Nikon clean off. Nikon actually did a good job, but I just don't like being without my camera that long, so I really needed another solution to the welded dust problem. The SensorKlear LensPen is a partial solution. It actually did remove most of the welded dust, but in doing so, introduced much more normal dust which I had to attempt to remove with the rocket blower and built-in sensor cleaner. After about 45 minutes, I was able to remove about 90% of the dust on my sensor. If you expect this to be a stand-alone dust removal system, you will be disappointed. If you expect this to be a magic wand that will make all your sensor dust disappear with ease, you will be disappointed. Overall, I would only recommend this product to people who 1) have really stubborn dust particles and 2) have some sort of blower for clean-up afterwards.

The pen seems a bit short and did not remove all dust particles, particularly in the extreme borders.
I was not confident in pressing the delicate sensor with this pen.

I tried deferent methods of removing dust from my camera's sensor, mostly air and the on board sensor clean. There were a few stubborn spots always there in my sunset photos which took time to remove in Photoshop. Wet clean was going to be my last resort, wanted to try the SensorKlear, by LensPen first. It took two tries but all dust spots are gone for now, photos look clean no spots. The cleaning pad is a little small requiring mutable passes but it works. I recommend using the Giottos Rocket Air Blower while using the SensorKlear tool.

A great product to get the hard to remove spots off the sensor and the corners of the sensor. I was a big fan of their lens cleaner product, and needed something to clean the sensor of my Canon 5D mkii. I was looking at other solutions, but they seemed way too much money for what they were offering. I think this beats them all, super portable, does a better job, and at a fraction of the price!

Had several spots on my sensor and this pen did the trick. Much easier and quicker that any other method. Before you even thing of using a wet method, I would recommend you try the LensPen.

This product is my "in the field" solution to dust and debris particles. The brush on one end and the sensor cleaner on the other are a nice duo. Since they are in a pen style casing it is something great to have in your pocket along with a cloth for the outer lens.
The price is great and the simple design shape of a pen is wonderful.

This "pen" works great. I had a few specks on my sensor that were being stubborn and not coming off using the Rocket Air Blower. I used the Sensor-Clear pen and it did the job great. Sensor now looks as clean as day 1.

This is a very lightweight easy way to clean your sensor. I use it about once a week after I've been shooting sports. The multi-purpose dual ends are great. If you have a camera that doesn't have any built-in sensor cleaning features it is definitely worth it.

I am so thankful for this product. I have a canon 40D that does the Super Shake Sensor Shuffle well and keeps my sensor mostly clean. I've had a few spots showing up on my macro images that wouldn't shake off and it was becoming a pain to shop them out. This pen did the job!

I have used this product with Canon 30D. At first I was a little afraid of touching the sensor even though I know there is some kind of protective layer on top of the sensor. I had a lot of dust on my sensor and I did not want to pay to get it cleaned as I knew it was possible to DIY.
Reading instructions from the product's web site and cleaning the sensor as well as taking test pictures before and after took about 6 minutes. After this there was only 1 small dust particle visible which I could easily remove. In 10 minutes I got my sensor cleaned. I am very pleased with this product.
