The Kodak EasyShare M853 Digital Camera is loaded with a vast array of features that make great picture-taking incredibly simple. The camera has a resolution of 8.1 Megapixels, which allows you to print clear, crisp images up to 30 x 40" in size, and a 3x optical zoom lens that makes the camera great for typical family and vacation shooting.

In addition the camera has a high ISO setting that can produce clearer pictures in low-light situations. It also has Digital Image Stabilization and Kodak Perfect Touch Technology so you can take consistently better shots under all sorts of shooting conditions. Plus, the vibrant 2.5-inch LCD screen is perfect for instantly sharing clear, bright pictures and videos whether inside or outdoors.

• Exceptional Image Quality: 8.1 megapixels of resolution means you can make stunning prints up to 30 x 40", and you'll capture bright, beautiful color with the Kodak Color Science technology built right into the camera.

• 3x Optical Zoom Lens: The Kodak 3x optical zoom lens captures crisp details with a focal length equivalent of 37 - 111mm that gets you closer to your subjects without losing image quality. There is also a 5x digital zoom that gets you even closer to your subject.

• Versatile Scene and Color Modes: It's easy to get great shots time after time with 17 programmed scene modes, including auto, portrait, self portrait, sport, night portrait, snow, beach, fireworks, backlight, children, party, close up, and landscape. You can also have fun with five color modes (3 color settings, sepia, and black & white).

• Shoot Video with Ease: Capture life in motion with continuous VGA video (640 x 480 at 15 fps), featuring audio capture and playback, and you'll capture more video while using less memory with MPEG-4 compression. Plus a video print option allows users to produce 1, 4, 9, and 16-up prints from video clips.

• High ISO Sensitivity: The camera can automatically select from ISO 80 to ISO 1250 based on lighting conditions to capture images with all the details even in low light.

• Digital Image Stabilization: Reduce blur caused by camera or subject movement using the Digital Image Stabilization feature - it maximizes the shutter speed and aperture along with the ISO sensitivity to provide the sharpest images possible.

• HD Still Capture: The camera can take pictures in three different aspect ratios - the traditional 4:3, a slightly wider 3:2 that is great for printing 4 x 6" photo album prints, and a 16:9 HD format image that makes it easy to display images on a HDTV Display.

• Rechargeable Battery Included: The included Kodak KLIC-7001 rechargeable battery provides sufficient power to take as many as 250 shots and is easily recharged right through your computers USB Port. You can also purchase an optional camera dock or an AC adapter for faster and more convenient charging.

• 2.5" LCD Display: Get a good look at your pictures on the generous 2.5" indoor/outdoor color display. The review mode let you magnify your images up to 8x, fast scroll through pictures, or view multi-up or slide shows; even protect pictures from accidental erasure.

• Internal and Expandable Memory: With 11MB of available internal memory, you can start shooting right out of the box, and the Secure Digital expansion slot accepts both SD and SDHC type cards so you can increase the memory to over 2GB.

Kodak EasyShare Software Works seamlessly with EasyShare Cameras and Docks to enable one-button transferring and sharing. It provides an easy way to view, edit, organize, print or view a slide show from your computer, or use the Creative Projects tab for personalized photo greeting cards, books, and gifts. Furthermore, Kodak Perfect Touch Technology makes it easy to automatically print better, brighter pictures and adjusts the settings on your inkjet printer to give you traditional quality photos when printing on Kodak Inkjet Photo Papers.

The transfer button instantly uploads pictures to your computer for viewing, printing and emailing, and also charges your camera battery in less than 3.5 hours (rechargeable battery included with the camera dock).
Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock (optional accessory)
With the printer dock, you can easily print real Kodak borderless 4 x 6" (10 x 15 cm) photos in less than 2 minutes and it print with or without a computer. The Printer Dock also transfers pictures and charges battery just like the Camera Dock and is ImageLink Print System compatible

• Compatible with PictBridge-Enabled Printers: Print directly from the EasyShare M853 Digital Camera to any PictBridge-enabled printer and print high quality images, without the need of a PC, by using the included USB cable, and then simply selecting the pictures you want to print.
