The Axis Communications AXIS 210 Surveillance Package is presented as a comprehensive solution for medium sized security applications looking to monitor multiple locations, discreetly and in high resolution over a network. With simultaneous MJPEG and MPEG-4 video transmission and built-in motion detection, these compact cameras provide the flexibility and performance required in crucial security applications such as casinos, cruise ships, government facilities and numerous other environments.

Superior Image Quality
Utilizing a progressive scan CCD and advanced video processing technology, this camera is capable of delivering outstanding image quality with the sharpness and color depth required in closely identifying people and objects in critical security applications.
Simultaneous MJPEG & MPEG-4
Video is captured simultaneously in both the MJPEG and MPEG-4 image compression formats. This allows a user for example to choose the higher resolution MJPEG format for live image viewing and at the same time record video to a hard drive over the network using the faster and more versatile MPEG-4 format.
Motion Detection with Pre & Post Alarm Image Capture
Built into the camera is a motion detection function fully configurable for area and sensitivity. Motion detection not only alerts an operator to suspicious activities but when used to trigger recording saves valuable time as well as storage and network resources. To give an operator a better evaluation of an occurrence, images preceding and following an event are recorded along with alarm footage.
