The Altec Lansing Octiv Air Wireless Speaker System for iPod is a wireless home music system that frees you up from cords, while letting you listen anywhere in the house. The speaker system features a universal iPod dock that works within 100 feet of the base speaker and also chargers your iPod while it plays. The Octiv Air also comes with a remote control for making changes from the couch or across the room. You can expand the music throughout the entire house by adding up to 7 optional wireless speakers. The Octiv Air doesn't just play your iPod, it also plays FM radio and can hook up to your CD player, MP3 players or other audio devices via the Aux line in jack.
