JBL has created the SCS145.5 6-Piece Home Cinema Speaker Package, an aesthetically pleasing home theater system that will be a treat to your ears as well. The SCS145.5 6-Piece Home Cinema Speaker Package features 4 identical satellites, matching center speaker and a room-shaking 100W subwoofer. Each satellite contains JBL's technologically advanced titanium-laminate-dome tweeters and 3" drivers for high resolution sound. The double driver center speaker shares the same components for seamless pans and crystal clear dialogue. JBL has packaged this 6-piece system with black finish that will fit seamlessly with any flat-panel television or any decor. Wall brackets are included for the satellites and center channel.

- Tight, precise bass is created from JBL's polymer coated cellulose-fiber cones with pistonic motion, eliminating internal resonances without increasing cone mass.
- Pinpoint Accuracy
- JBL's extremely rigid titanium-laminate dome, reinforced with a foil laminate, ensures undistorted high-frequency response, even in high volume situations.
- Tight Bass Response
- The FreeFlow Bass reflex port has computer optimized geometry to maximize deep bass response while eliminating unwanted turbulence and noise.
- Video Shielded
- The satellite and center speakers are all video-shielded for convenient placement near a television.

I give four stars in general,but for speakers in category under five hundred,i will give five stars.Only I wish satelites can be differently mounted,giving more flexibility.i used it for listening every thing,whatis connected to my 40"LCH and 7 Ch.Scherwood with auto calibration which,can helping using that speakers to full potential,sometime is even too much and too strong basses,this system,like every JBL suwoofer is for bass lovers.The best combinatin money and quality of sound,Iwas need something smal which can fit and blend with TV and bigger speakers on the stands (which I already had)was impractical and impossible,my first think was soundbar,but i had also already radio receiver,when I listening all of that bars,I found no one(soundbars under$1600)can give me that much,like this great and noexpensive,little JBL system.

Simple easy setup, great sound and cheap. I had a friend who bought this system a few years ago and I was really impressed with the sound and quality of theses speakers. I wanted this for an easy setup for movie surround sound system. It works great with my Yamaha Receiver. I would recommend this to a friend. My only con is the 8" sub 100 watt speaker is good, but could be better. But what do you expect for less than 200 bucks. I challenge anyone to find a better system for fewer than 200 bucks.

I have really no complaints at all. I ordered this product on a Sunday and received it on the following Thursday. It was expertly packaged and the quality of the speakers are great. The sub performs well above it's 8" size and the center channel rocks. Real good deal for the bargain hunter in you.

I purchased this JBL 6-piece Home Cinema Speaker system for a dedicated Home Theater application. When we hooked everything up, which was VERY easy, to our Harman/Kardon avr247 receiver, we were delighted with the results. Clear, crisp sounds came out that you would expect from a much more expensive system from the surprisingly small speakers. The sound system is just what we needed for our home theater. If we ever move, we would certainly purchase this product again! We are definitely pleased with the results.

I was looking to hook up my room for a home theater sound quality and i could not be more glad i got these speakers.You will be amazed at the sound these small speakers produce and the subwoofer will just blow you away(literarilly).The wall mount also comes in handy.I am so glad i made the choice to get these speakers and the price is just a steal.So far i havent found any fault with them,they sound just great.

I have a small living room, so I needed smallish speakers that would sound good, but not cost a fortune. This JBL system is exactly that, the sound is great for gaming and dvds. This may not be the speaker system for an audiophile (which I'm not), but for the average person I'd definitely recommend it, great sound, easy to set up, even came with speaker wire!
