Cameras mounted to flash brackets of any brand tend to twist or rotate on the camera mounting screw. Cork or rubber friction pads help, but the real solution is to use a camera-specific Anti-Twist Plate. They act as an interface between the camera and bracket, pin-register to the bracket and conform to the camera's baseplate. This locks the camera to the bracket to prevent twisting. Because there are so many camera configurations, Anti-Twist Plates are sold separately.
Please see this link for a list of compatible cameras.
NOTE: Camera Anti-Twist Plates are not compatible with QuickFlip models.

If you have a flash bracket you HAVE to have one of these. Photography can be a fun and rewarding expereience, or a very large point of frustration if it "ain't your day". If you own a flash bracket and do not have an anti-twist plate on it, you can look forward to a lot of "it ain't you day" events. There's enough to worry about, (ISO setting low or high enough for light situation, white balance set correctly, composition, etc.)without having to constantly re-adjust the camera on the bracket because it loosened up. Again. For the ?th time. If you paid for a flash and a flash bracket, why save the [$] and not get this? This is really cheap insurance.

It was recommended I use this product and so I ordered it with my stroboframe bracket. Personally I think the anti-twist plate should be included WITH the bracket but anyway.... I find attaching this bracket is very difficult on your own and not something you want to try in a hurry. Its very difficult to hold the bracket, position your camera on the screw, and try to hold the plate in position so it doesnt slip around while your trying to attach the dang thing. Very frustrating indeed. Unfortunately it's something needed but I thing the makers need to go back to the drawing board on this one.....Why would you not include this automatically on the bracket so it wouldnt be so difficult????? It also needs a little pouch or something to put it in for packing with your gear so it doesnt scratch anything. Construction seems to be fine but it's a frustrating little piece to attach.

This fits my 50D and prevents the camera from twisting on the verta-flip. I added a piece of gaffers tape to prevent this plate from potentially making a mark on my camera.

Make sure you mount using the screw with the recessed section in it. I was using the solid screw, and obviously it was not working. This works with a canon 50D nicely.

The anti-twist plate is a must have item for the Stroboframe Camera Flip Flash Bracket. The camera stays in line with the flash, right where it is supposed to be.

Keeps heavy camera/lens combos from twisting when rotating to vertical with the Stroboframe camera flip flash brackets. The flash Anti-Twist plate is also good for for the securing the sync cord to the flash bracket. This keeps speedlight in alignment by preventing the sync cord from twisting.

Comments about Stroboframe 300-SLR Camera Anti-Twist Plate:
I use this to keep my Pro-T bracket mounted solidly to my camera. So far it seems to keep the bracket from slipping. I can't imagine how it could slip with this thing in place. None of the stroboframe accessories I purchased to go with my Pro-T bracket came with instructions, but it only took a couple minutes to figure each one out. This piece had a sticker of some sort applied to the back of it, and there were no instructions saying whether or not to remove it, but I quickly realized it had to be removed in order to use the plate properly. The adhesive wasn't easily removed and there are still pieces of it stuck to the plate. My plate appears to have a slight bend or warp in it when mounted. Seems like it might have something to do with the fact that the plate is mounted with a screw on only one corner. It's the opposite corner that doesn't sit flush. But the bend isn't significant enough to interefere with anything or keep it from working properly.

I do weddings and I hate it when my flash and camera aren't both pointed where they're aimed. This anti-twist plate fixes that, even if bumped all parts are pointed where I aim them and stay that way.

A must have accessory for my Pro-RL flash bracket that keeps Nikon with larger lens from twisting out of place during weddings. Simple and easy to install and requiring no modifications when using D-700. I would also recommend the flash Anti-Twist plate for the SC-29 when securing the sync cord to the Pro-RL flash bracket. This keeps SB-900 in alignment.

Comments about Stroboframe 300-SLR Camera Anti-Twist Plate:
Might not seem like much, but when you're doing a shoot and your camera is slipping left and right on the bracket, it's a real pain. Plus it can make you look like a dunce. This little gizmo stops all of that and let's you focus......on focusing (sorry). Don't let this opportunity "slip" by, add this to your equipment.

I ordered this as the Cork was still letting a slip with the camera. This fixed that ASAP.

Comments about Stroboframe 300-SLR Camera Anti-Twist Plate:
After reading many reviews on the flash bracket I bought this anti-twist plate and my camera did not move at all once it was installed. My only issue was working the screw to attach the camera to the plate wasn't easy. You have to carefully work it through the base of the flash bracket or risk ruining the thread. At least they give you an extra.

Comments about Stroboframe 300-SLR Camera Anti-Twist Plate:
The anti-twist plate keeps the SLR body stable on the Stroboframe bracket and once attached doesn't need to be readjusted. Strongly recommend this instead of the cork mounting pad that comes with the brackets.
