I've read through the manual for the HV20 and the DVD presents the information in an easily grasped tutorial. Also, additional material is presented that gives the shooter general videography tips to help get a better recording. One thing that I would like to see is more information regarding digital still photography and the HV20.

I took delivery of a Canon HV20 today. After much shopping around, though they were not the cheapest, I decided to get it from B&H only because the package included your video. I never EVER read manuals of electronic products....my theory being that if I cannot start using them right out of the box then I wasn' t meant to use them nor were they designed to be used by me.This one has been different. Your video made the difference, though it was fast paced. Not only did it go through all the menus/features/functions of the camcorder but it also made me reach for the official manual multiple times. I now have a much better understanding of the product.
