Comments about Eizo ColorEdge CG241W 24.1" Widescreen LCD Display:
Using as a second display for my laptop. Very, very even color across the display. There are no dips from other angles -- great for showing photos to others and color correction.

Comments about Eizo ColorEdge CG241W 24.1" Widescreen LCD Display:
I use this monitor for endless hours of Photoshop and calibration is critical for me. I'm using this with spyder 3 calibration and waht's really nice is that Eizo has it's own calibration software that recognizes the spyder 3 puck and does the calibration beautifully. Eizo has a preset target specifically for photography. This monitor is really easy on the eyes for hours of work. The size is great, you wouldn't want anything smaller.

Comments about Eizo ColorEdge CG241W 24.1" Widescreen LCD Display:
I added the CG241W to my Mac Pro system and am glad that I did. The only downside is the cost, although it is offset by the high quality and the ability to see what my images really look like. Users must be able to appreciate the difference between this monitor and lower quality monitors. All elements of the system must be of the same quality as the CG241W, making for a costly setup. Users must know how to make use of all parts of the system or such a high quality monitor is not needed. If you can't see the difference, don't pay for it.

Comments about Eizo ColorEdge CG241W 24.1" Widescreen LCD Display:
I bought this monitor for professional photography retouching, and it was used relatively lightly - and never moved - but died within one year of the purchase date. It it completely unresponsive and now I must ship it back to Eizo in CA at my own expense for repairs which will take up to two weeks. This is unacceptable for a 'professional' monitor at such a price point. My advice would be to think very carefully about buying a monitor from Eizo unless you don't mind being without one for a few weeks, or can afford two for when one breaks.

Comments about Eizo ColorEdge CG241W 24.1" Widescreen LCD Display:
I was using what I thought was a pretty good monitor. As I have moved into doing my own printing, color correction on my monitor balanced to my Epson 7900 became critical. My old monitor when color balanced was showing fluorescent red lips on my subjects. And that was the guys !! When I received the Eizo, I ran a balance with my ColorMunki and the balance was perfect. Great monitor, easy to set up and use and a pleasure to look at !!

Comments about Eizo ColorEdge CG241W 24.1" Widescreen LCD Display:
This monitor is perfect. Color is even edge to edge. The software automatically profiles the monitor with my EyeOne spectrophotometer and the USB connection (Much easier than using the Eye-One software). With the software, I can quickly switch between different color temperature profiles without a reboot.[...]

Comments about Eizo ColorEdge CG241W 24.1" Widescreen LCD Display:
I am using 2 computers on 2 screens, the Eizo and a JVC video monitor. It is so great to push one button and be working on the PC and a second later be working on the Mac Pro. The calibration is a breeze, push a button and the screen does everything auto, really quite amazing.
