This Pelican Big Ed 3700PL Photoluminescent Lite is a right-angle flashlight specifically designed for fire fighters. The flashlight body is made of Xenoy, an unbreakable chemical resistant resin, with a polycarbonate lens and thermoplastic rubber shroud. The powerful Xenon lamp produces an unparalleled bright, long distance beam. A spare Krypton lamp is included as a secondary lamp.
The unique push-button "Quick Change Battery Ejection System" allows the user to change the 4C cell alkaline batteries (not included), without the use of tools. Big Ed can be carried comfortably in the hand, worn on a shoulder strap or clipped to a turnout coat by its stainless steel clip. The light is water-resistant and available with a personal identification decal.
The lens ring emits a bright glow in the dark. This generation of Photoluminescent material in the plastic absorbs the energy from any light source - fluorescent lights, the sun, or even the flashlight's own beam. No more fumbling in the dark for your flashlight.
