The SanDisk V-Mate Video Memory Card Recorder is a video memory card recorder that captures video content from an analog source directly onto a flash memory card. You can then play back recorded video content by simply inserting your flash memory card into a compatible mobile device.

The V-Mate allows you take advantage of the video capabilities of your mobile device and gives you the flexibility to watch whatever you want whenever and wherever you want. View your favorite TV shows or movies during your daily commute, catch the late night TV shows you always miss or watch the latest episode of your favorite reality show during your lunch break. You can even digitize your home videos, and share favorite video content with family and friends, thanks to this incredibly versatile video recording device.

Key Features

• Simple Recording: The V-Mate allows you to select your desired playback device profile or manually set video format, resolution, and quality levels via a user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) displayed on your television screen. It makes it very easy to navigate through the menu and select recording and viewing options. Additionally, operation is possible at the touch of a button via the supplied remote control.

• Schedule your Recordings: The V-Mate enables you to schedule recordings based on channel, date, and start/stop times, including daily and weekly repeats. Plus the included IR emitter cable allows the V-Mate to control your set-top cable/satellite box or VCR during scheduled recordings.

• Record from Many Sources: Video recordings may be captured from any composite video source, such as a Cable or Satellite Set-Top Box, DVD Player, Video Cassette Recorder (VCR), Personal Video Recorder (PVR), or Camcorder.

• Playback Video on your Favorite Device: View your recorded video content by simply inserting your flash memory card into a compatible portable device, such as a mobile phone, handheld game console, PDA, Video Music Player, Personal Media Player (PMP), or PC/notebook computer. Plus you can play directly thru the V-Mate when connected to your TV.

• Accepts Common Flash Cards: The V-Mate has multiple card slots that are compatible with most common flash cards used in PDA, MP3, and multimedia players. Compatible card types include Secure Digital (SD), SDHC, miniSD, miniSDHC, microSD, microSDHC, (RS-)MMC (DV), MMCplus, MMCmoble, Memory Stick, Memory Sick Pro, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo.

• Record up to 3.5 Hours of High Quality Video per Gigabyte: The V-Mate records video and audio using the MPEG-4 Simple Profile, H.263 Codec in MP4, 3GP, or 3G2 formats with a resolution of up to 640x480 pixels at a frame rate of up to 30 fps. Furthermore the unit can record each video format using one of three compression settings and can record or play back video using either NTSC or PAL broadcast standards

• Compact Design: The V-Mate is an attractive unit with a silver & black coloration that will easily blend in with most of your household electronics devices and it is easily portable with the diminutive dimensions of 5.1 x 2.6 x 0.8".
