Trendnet USB 2.0 IDE Network Storage Enclosure - 10/100 Mbps
The USB 2.0 IDE Network Storage Enclosure from TRENDnet is a network hard drive enclosure for 3.5" PATA (IDE) hard drives. The enclosure supports drives up to 400 GB in size, and features two integrated USB 2.0 ports that allow you to connect external drives for additional network storage. A standard 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 Ethernet port is present on the drive, facilitating network connectivity.
- Network Data Access
- The enclosure allows you to install a standard PATA hard drive, up to 400 GB in size, for use as a network storage device. Computers on your Ethernet network will be able to access this data, making it an excellent option for workgroups and project teams. The drive can be configured for open access or account-based access, allowing you to customize security to suit your needs. The device is compatible with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- USB 2.0 Expansion
- Two USB 2.0 ports are integrated into the hard drive enclosure. You'll be able to connect external hard drives, memory card readers, flash drives, or other USB mass storage devices to these ports to use them as network storage devices.
- Schedule FTP and HTTP Downloads
- You can schedule the device to download files via FTP or HTTP. This allows you to download files directly to the drive, without the need for a computer.
