Xuma 15" Multimedia Digital Picture Frame
The Xuma 15" Digital Picture Frame expands on the digital slide show experience generated by many other brands of digital picture frames, by offering a slew of professional multimedia options that adds to the usefulness of this device.
Since this frame supports photo, audio and video playback, stand-alone presentations can be created with a built-in library of transitions and accompanied by user uploaded MP3 tracks. The interval time in-between slides can range anywhere from 1 second to 60 minutes. Music and audio from video files are broadcast on the built-in stereo speakers with volume control. Furthermore, an Audio/Video out jack allows the frame to connect and output files to a home entertainment center with video display for both PAL and NTSC systems. On-screen menu options are available in eleven different languages. With the built-in clock and calendar, the frame can display the month and date, trigger an alarm clock or schedule power on and off intervals.
As far as the Xuma display's physical features are concerned, the sleek flush-faced glossy frame can rest upon a tabletop or wall mounted with a traditional nail, or rigidly with a 75mm VESA mount. As an added bonus, the frame stand is adjustable for vertical and horizontal orientation with a telescoping arm that will adjust the recline angle. This frame's worldwide compatibility goes beyond the language support as it can accept input voltage from 90-240 VAC or 12/24 VDC car/boat/aircraft system voltage (DC cable optional).
Beyond home and professional use, this model Xuma frame has a feature set aimed at digital signage or Point-of-Purchase displays with permanent installation in public spaces. Additions include: card copy from USB or memory card to CF card, audio/video inputs, RS-232 port, and a rugged chassis that can be flush-mounted for in-wall applications. The memory card slot is protected by a screw-on cover to prevent any storage card loss.
Overall, this Xuma frame was built for universality and versatility with a broad range of file, voltage and language options.

I'm so disappointed. If you are someone who wants digital signage then this has all of the features you'd want. Plays/shows most digital format images, supports audio, has a cover over the media to prevent theft...its perfect, there's only problem. I can't get one that works. I'm just returning my second that failed right out of the box. I've wasted nearly two months waiting for replacements. Do yourself a favor buy something else.

Product was purchased to show Hawaiian Vacation pictures including music. It does this quite well. There was a learning curve on how to load the SD chip inorder to get it to work as we wanted it to. We're still experimenting. The documentation could be improved upon for those of us that are technically challenged. Picture resolution was very good. Sound reproduction was acceptable. We're running about 500 frames of 3meg picture files and 4 CD albums of vocals on 2gig SD. Spouse is happy but now wants bigger frame to replace prints on the wall. To make it prettier I thought I'd make a stand from walnut or oak.

Works well. Picture quality is very good. Probably better for business use than home use, which unfortunately I bought it for. Its the Beavis and But-head entry in the digital frame world (Hey they are good at what they do, even if not so pretty ...)

These digital sign monitors feature high quality LCD panels with built in speakers will automatically recognize which files it can play, this can be Photo, MP3 and Video files. You can even combine photos with music. Making them Ideal for retail shelf edge, table top, POP display and other Point of Purchas. With the built-in timer function you can set the Digital Advertising Display to automatically start at a set time and automatically shutdown at a set time. The Digital Advertising Display can save two to three different timersets. This means that for example you can set the Digital Advertising Display to start every day at 9.00 am and shutdown at lunchtime 1.00 pm to start again at 2.00 pm after lunch and automatically shutdown at 6.00 pm when the store closes. The timers can be set with a precision of 1 minute. This model is Stand alone Digital Signage from Sun Group model No. SUN-SG8150. We have bought few units last year and we are satisfied and would recommended to others.
