Concerned that the reading of time left on the Sony PD-150 video camera I'm using this with may not be as accurate with this replacement batter as with the original Sony one. But I don't have enough experience yet to really say that.

I use this when recording bands in my studio... It has been great in comparison to my Sony brand batteries as well. It is very nice to not worry about running low on voltage when filming!!

Concerned with this battery as the minute display is possibly inacurate. I use genuine Sony batteries also and they go up to about 525 min on a full charge. This battery charges into the 900+ minute range and on the side display for the PD150 it showed 2150 minutes. I have not used it long enough to fully trust it to run out of charge in line with the displayed time. hopefully it will work out?

First 3 times I used the battery, it was fine. By the fourth and fifth time, the battery life was terrible, and it will never regain a full charge no matter how long it charges.

I bought two of these to use with my HVR-V1u. I've had them for 4 months so far and then see to work well and last a few hours.
They haven't been used in cold weather or extreme heat and they're relatively new. So based on my average day to day use they work great, the camera gives a readout of how many minutes of power are left in the battery.

No complaints.

We use the PD 170 for our News dept.

The unit true test will be a year from now. For now it is recognized by the Sony camera as a power source and is performing well.

I use this as two of my backup batteries for my Z1U and am supremely pleased with it. I carry a couple of L series batteries, but use a couple of these for backups and they haven't failed.

These batteries seem good replacements for our high capacity SONY batteries on our VX-2000 and VX-2100 camcorders. But, we have not had them long enough to really compare performance. When we go them last week, I put them on the charger. They charged quickly. When hung on our camcorders, they are reported to have about twice the capacity, in minutes remaining, as our 2-year old, well used SONY batteries. Time will tell if they are as good, or perhaps better. I would really prefer genuine SONY replacement products when they are available (but, there were not available here).

I use this item on my Ican V8000HD monitor. Will last for 3 1/2 hours on a full charge. It half the price or the regular sony batteries so its a steal. I use it with the Impact F-Series battery charger with car adapter. Works great. Three of these will get me through a 10 hour day shoot with no problem.
